Bruce began working in the lettings industry for a local independent agency in 2008 as a negotiator. After achieving the ARLA technical award he became branch manager and worked across a number of different offices in different roles. He also successfully oversaw the launch of a new sales department. After a brief time away from the industry, in the summer of 2020 (and mid pandemic!), Rachael and Bruce decided now was the time to launch their own venture. In his spare time, Bruce enjoys keeping fit at local spin classes or sampling different cuisines. He also has a keen interest in anything car, train or plane related! With his family being based abroad he is also a fluent French and Spanish speaker.
Rachael started in the lettings industry back in 2014 for a local independent agency. She started as a negotiator and quickly progressed to branch manager in the Shaftesbury area. Rachael honed her lettings skills and experience over a number of years before taking a short break from the lettings industry and moving into events. Then in 2020 Rachael and Bruce decided to start Taylor & Co with a shared vision to provide a no nonsense high service and high value for money lettings agency. In her spare time Rachael enjoys hiking with her terrier, socialising and practising new culinary discoveries!
Brinkley prides himself on being a bark-ticulate communicator and always spreading joy and pawsitivity in the workplace. Previously he has worked as a Director of Treat Acquisition but has seamlessly stepped into the role of Bone Operator at Taylor & Co and has become a valued member of the team. Brinkley is also a Certified Good Boy with the award being presented to him by the Canine Appreciation Programme.
Ratatouille is our unofficial tail-wagging brand ambassador with her constant wagging acting as a living endorsement of our company's values! She also prides herself on being the first to greet any Landlords or Tenants with a warm welcome. Previously she has worked as a self-employed squeaky toy coordinator but has excelled in her current role at Taylor & Co. In her spare time, she is working towards achieving her Bachelor of Fetchology.
At Taylor & Co Lettings, we are committed to providing a high standard of service. However, if you feel dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, we encourage you to let us know so we can address your concerns effectively.
Stage 1: Informal Resolution. If you have a complaint, we recommend that you first raise it with the relevant staff member dealing with your matter. They will aim to resolve the issue as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Stage 2: Formal Complaint. If you are not satisfied with the response, please submit a formal complaint in writing. You can send this via email to: info@taylorlettings.co.uk.
Please include the following details:
We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 10 working days and aim to provide a full response within 10 working days.
Stage 3: Escalation. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may request a further review. Please outline why you remain dissatisfied, and we will conduct an additional investigation.
Stage 4:Independent Redress Scheme. If, after our final response, you remain dissatisfied, you have the right to escalate your complaint to our independent redress scheme (The Property Ombudsman Scheme):

I’ve recently let my property with Taylor & Co and I have had a brilliant experience so far. Rachael and Bruce have found tenants quickly and dealt with everything on my behalf, and made this much easier for me. They work really hard and are always so responsive - I’m really pleased that they have given both my tenants and I a great experience. Highly recommended!

Taylor & Co (Bruce and Rachael) have managed the letting of our house for over 6 months and everything has gone smoothly so far. They found good tenants for us and are also very professional and prompt in dealing with any repair and maintenance issues that arise. We get regular remittance statement's and the fees for managing the property are reasonable. Therefore I would wholeheartedly recommend them as letting agents for anyone requiring this service in the North Dorset and surrounding areas.

Cant recommend highly enough! Our first experience at becoming landlords and from the start Bruce and Rachael have made the whole process painless,stressless and enjoyable! They are both very professional and friendly and go out of their way to answer all questions thrown their way. From start to finish nothing has been too much trouble for them. We now have lovely tenants who we feel will be looked after by Taylors for us as we choose managed letting for our first year, which was very reasonable compared to other company's who didn't appear to offer the "personal service" which is so important to us. Well done guys and carry on being individuals in a dog eat dog industry

I knew from our first communications with Rachael and Bruce of Taylor & Co that we’d picked the right agent. As first time Landlords we were more than a little apprehensive, particularly as we are not living in the UK at the moment and we had lots of last minute issues with the house we’d bought. They were there for us every step of the way, though, always with a solution to a problem, and nothing was ever too much trouble… even on a Sunday!
We really have the impression that they get to know and care about each of their clients and that providing a service above and beyond the norm is their top priority. Being solely a letting company means their time is totally dedicated to matching landlords and tenants, without this playing second fiddle to house sales, and this certainly shows in the speed of their responses to any questions or issues. Bruce and Rachael clearly really love their work and have built a fantastic company that others should strive to be more like.
